About the Seminar

Frame It; Light It; Shoot It, is an action-packed, hands-on full day professional photography seminar that will be coming to Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Presented by San Francisco, California fashion/portrait photographer and university academic, David Fraser, with guest presentations by esteemed Trinidadian photographer, Butch Limchoy. David will share many of the techniques behind his award-winning and regularly published images. Although he shoots primarily with Profoto lights and modifiers, he will also demonstrate some of his techniques utilizing smaller strobes and speedlights commonly used by many photographers.

About the Primary Presenter 

David Fraser currently lives and works in a suburb of San Francisco, California, in the western United States. He has been a photographer and photography instructor for over a decade. In addition to his studio and location work, he is a university academic who has been teaching in the state university system for over a dozen years. He holds graduate and post-graduate degrees in business administration, public policy, and leadership. He also holds undergraduate degrees in communications and religion. 

David is a highly sought after presenter who is known for his meticulous attention to detail whether shooting in the studio, presenting at a conference, or lecturing in the classroom. He has a keen sense of symmetry and composition, as well as a critical sense of blending colors and textures. 

Along with shooting in California, he travels to other parts of the United States to shoot fashion and portrait projects. He also frequents the Caribbean region where he regularly shoots fashion projects, and presents seminars. The images shown on this page are samples of some of his recent work. 

Register to Attend

Amateur, enthusiast, and professional photographers are welcome to attend. You must own and bring to the seminar a Digital SLR or Mirrorless Camera with interchangeable lenses. You may bring along studio and/or other type of lights that are battery operated, and do not require an electrical outlet. However, lights are not a requirement. 

Seats are limited and are assigned based on those who register and submit payments first. Registration remains open until all seats are filled. Once you have registered, you must agree to make payment in cash at a Republic Bank branch, to one of our agents in Trinidad & Tobago, or online with a major credit card, including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. All credit card charges are made in US currency. Once you have registered, you will be sent a notice about making the appropriate payment.

Payment of TT$1,000 or US$150 (by credit card) entitles one person to attend. Each attendee must register separately. The fee includes attendance to the day's seminar and light refreshments throughout the day.
