About the Workshop
San Francisco, California published fashion and portrait photographer and university academic, David Fraser, is heading back to beautiful Trinidad & Tobago to facilitate a portfolio building event for professional and enthusiast photographers. David and his team will personally guide a group of enthusiast and professional photographers in capturing stunning images of select models, so each photographer can build a portfolio of refined images. A photographer who wishes to attract new clients should have a collection of highly refined images to illustrate her/his capabilities. With David providing expert lighting setups, assisting with framing and composition, and providing other technical skills, each photographer will be the beneficiary of personal attention. David will share many of the techniques behind his award-winning and regularly published images. Although he shoots primarily with Profoto lights and modifiers, he will also demonstrate some of his techniques utilizing smaller strobes and speedlights commonly used by many photographers.
The workshop will run for an intense full day on Saturday, August 12, and if weather permits, a bonus guided beachwear shoot will take place on Sunday morning, August 13 at one of the popular North Coast beaches.

Among the concepts that will be demonstrated are the following:
-
Generating Ideas for Portraits & Fashion Shoots
-
Composing Creatively on Location
-
Producing Dramatic Images Outdoors
-
Shooting with a Single Light Source
-
Shooting with Multiple Light Sources
-
How to Balance Ambient and Strobe Lights
-
Using High Speed Sync to Create Magical Images
